College of Art in Boston and Santa Fe Community College in Gainesville, and Central Florida Community College in Ocala, Florida Studied with CFCC professor Jack Thursby, and have taken workshops with J Everett Draper, Tony Couch, Charles Reid, Judi Betts, Pat Weaver, Max Muller, Janet and Steve Rogers, Don Getz, Herbie Rose, Paul George, Tom Lynch, Susanna Spann, Nita Leland, Martha Mans, Judi Wagner, Sue Connor, Phyllis Pransky, Judith Carducci, and David Becker. Gleaned priceless information from American Society of Portrait Artists and Portrait Society of America conferences.
Work experience 2001- circa 2016: portrait painter, freelance artist, art instructor for adults in demos and workshops; commissions accepted 2003 and 2004: Judged high schools student art show for Citrus County 1988 - 2003 (15 years) Art Teacher, Cornerstone School Ocala, Florida Taught in the classroom and then taught art exclusively 1996 1st - 8th grades till retiring in 2003. Painted exclusively in watercolors from 1977 (upon moving to Florida) to 1983 and won numerous awards including at Spring Arts in Gainesville and FAFO in Ocala. Stopped painting for 12 years to raise her family, resuming in 1996.
